The Ronaldo vs. Mourinho show continued on Wednesday during the International Champions Cup final with the Portuguese superstar seemingly throwing a figurative punch at his former coach.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored a free kick goal 30 minutes into the game and turned around to celebrate. He seemingly looked in the direction of his former coach Jose Mourinho. However, the forward refused to acknowledge that the gesture was made toward Mourinho.

"I like to do my talking on the field. Things that happen off it do not affect me or damage me," Ronaldo said in an interview with Marca. "I aim to help Real Madrid to achieve its objectives and what happens away from there does not hurt me."

"I looked at the bench of my own team, at my team-mates [after scoring]," he added. "I did not acknowledge Mourinho [afterwards] because I did not see him, but I was with all the Chelsea technical staff. I do not hold a grudge. That is for losers."

Mourinho also refused to get involved in more drama. However, he did clarify the statement that seemingly set off the drama between the two soccer stars. During an interview with ESPN, Mourinho called the Brazilian Ronaldo the "real" Ronaldo; the statement was seen as a subtle attack on his former star. The two were said to have a poor relationship during the latter parts of the 2012-13 season.

"It's not my show. I said the true Ronaldo because he [Brazilian native, Ronaldo] was the first. If you ask me who is the true Mueller, Thomas or Gerd, I will say Gerd. For me he is the first because he came first," said Mourinho before throwing another punch at his former employer. "This is a show that Madrid has put together, Madrid is the city of movies."

Ronaldo scored twice to lead Madrid to a 3-1 win over Chelsea.
