Nokia Lumia 1020 Price Sale on Amazon: 41MP Windows Phone 8 Smartphone at $249.99 for New, Current AT&T Customers [Video]

Available for less than a month, the Nokia Lumia 1020 has already received a price drop on Amazon.com.

The Windows Phone 8 device has been given a starting price of $249.99 when signing a two-year contract with exclusive carrier AT&T.

The $249.99 price tag is valid for new and existing AT&T customers in either an individual plan or family plan. Existing AT&T customers can pay the $249.99 price as part of an upgrade or adding a new line of service. The no-commitment "Without a Service Plan" price will increase the price of the Lumia 1020 to $699.99.

The Amazon prices are valid for the black, white, and yellow Lumia 1020 models.

As Latinos Post reported, Amazon has been selling the Lumia 1020 for $30 less than AT&T's original price. Amazon previously sold the Lumia 1020 at $269.99 when signing a two-year contract and $799.99 for the "Without a Service Plan" cost for the white model.

AT&T sells the Lumia 1020 for $299.99 when signing a two-year contract and has the device at $659.99 as its regular price.

The new Windows Phone 8 smartphone launched with AT&T on July 26. It has been rumored the Lumia 1020 will make its debut in China on Aug. 15 with a starting price of 4,000 to 5,000 Yuan, or approximately $650 to $800 USD.

The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. A rear-facing camera with a 41-megapixel sensor and a front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The Lumia 1020 also packs 2,000mAh battery.
