As curious Apple fans await for the rumored iPhone 5S, people have taken to the next level and create concepts for the iPhone 6.

"The only way to create a true edge-to-edge display is to remove the edge all together," introduced Johnny Plaid on Behance.net.

According to Plaid, the user's eyes will notice the difference in the iPhone 6, but the hands wont.

Plaid's concept for the iPhone 6 includes the next generation of the Retina Display.

He included, "Taking the new Retina display to the edge meant getting rid of the borders & bevels. No borders means nothing between your hand and the display. But because the physical dimensions of the iPhone 6 are identical to iPhone 5, the average hand does not obstruct the display or cause accidental gestures when using the device normally. For larger hands, we've built gesture support right into the edge."

In terms of the structure for the iPhone 6, Plaid has added an "all new aluminum-carbon fiber unibody enclosure," which would make the smartphone 40 percent lighter and 60 percent stronger.

"[The iPhone 6] will not shatter when dropped or dent," according to Plaid. "Scratches are a thing of the past and may upset the aftermarket case industry."

Specifications for Plaid's iPhone 6 concept had the A7 processor chip for 1,600MHz memory. The device would run on 2,800mAh battery capacity for up to 12 hours of talk time and 300 hours on standby when under a 4G network.

The display's size is 4.5 inches with 1,296x754 pixels at 333 pixels per inch.

The camera specs are upgraded. The rear-facing camera sports 20.2 megapixels while the front-facing camera has 8 megapixels.

The iPhone would also be available in four internal storage models ranging from 32GB, 64GB, 96GB, and 128GB for $199, $299, $399, and $499, respectively.

What do you think of Plaid's iPhone 6 concept? Would it be a viable route for Apple to consider?
