It's a time for remorse, reminiscence and reflection. The hit series "Dexter" is currently in it's final season, but it gets worse. It's passed the the halfway point. The end is drawing treacherously near. While the show miraculously ties up all its loose ends, closing doors on the past while keeping the content fresh, fans still dread the rapidly approaching finale. So let's focus on the present. There are still six episodes remaining, all of which are sure to be a thrill ride.
A sneak peek teaser of this week's episode features the duo as they plan to rid themselves of Yvonne Strahovski's Hannah McKay. That's right. Hannah's back and it's taking a serious emotional toll on both Dexter and Debra.
"The moment I asked you to kill her was the moment I started to lose myself," Deb says during the 30-second excerpt. "And I'm just starting to get back. I don't want to deal with this. I want her gone." Things are going to get a little messy. Check out the video for yourself below.
So what are Hannah's plans back in Miami? "She initially wants to blackmail Dexter into helping her remove a man from her life," Strahovski said. "She realizes her feelings are still very present for [Dexter]... this ending is going to be sad. It's going to be quite emotional, more so than I think what people may expect."
Dexter has a trying road ahead of him. He just got Debra back into his life, but now the return of Hannah complicates things. Deb wants her gone. Can he get past his emotional attachments to Hannah in order to appease his sister? As Strahovski promised, it's going to be sad. So prepare yourself.
Episode 7, titled "Dress Code," will air this Sunday, August 11, on Showtime.
