Developers are heavily working on Apple's next mobile operating system with an alarming download adoption rate.
Craig Hockenberry of Furbo.org was in the middle of updating an iOS app when he decided to ask how many other developers were also working on the upcoming iOS 7.

"While cranking along on the update, a couple of thoughts occurred to me: how many other developers were doing the same thing and were they going to commit fully to iOS 7? The depth and breadth of the changes in iOS 7 makes it difficult to support older versions of the OS," wrote Hockenberry on his blog.
In about 24 hours, he received 575 valid responses from fellow developers. Of the responses, 545 developers indicated they were working on iOS 7 app updates. The figure represented a 95 percent adoption rate of iOS 7.
The number nearly splits in half when asked if they would remain with iOS 7 or maintain updating iOS 6.
Hockenberry noted, "Initially I was surprised that this number was so high, but then I remembered how much time and effort I was putting into my own work."
He added that the 95-adoption rate is a good indication that many apps would be ready when Apple starts the iOS 7 distribution rollout this fall.
Apple confirmed iOS 7 during the keynote speech at the Worldwide Developers Conference on June 10. As Latinos Post has been following, iOS 7 is in its fourth beta version. By visiting Apple's Developer webpage, people can download iOS 7 beta, as long as they have an iOS developer account, which cost $99 per year.
