In the picture, the young actress poses wearing bright makeup as her hair covers part of her exposed back, showing she was wearing no bra. This situation caused controversy among internet users bringing a torrent of criticism in relation to her sense of decency and morality.
On the other hand, Gonzalez fans have entered the bullring to defend the actress from criticism by assuring the photo is just a very sexy, daring, and professional picture, which at the end "shows nothing."
User alee_guerrerosz, as quoted by newspaper La Opcion, wrote:
"She could be seen as a clown, she could be ugly, there would be many others sexier than her, but you just follow her because you like her and you would like to have her fame."

"You cannot get upset, you have to smile because that's just a lie. Obviously people are morbid, people like gossip. We are very morbid, but when people mess with serious things, I do get upset," said the actress before starting the broadcasting.
