It's the little things in life that keep us happy. It's a home cooked meal, an air-conditioned room on a summer day, or a hug from your best friend. As humans we must cherish these small and subtle occurrences. They can make the difference between a good and a bad day. They keep us sane and remind us that happiness is always achievable. Search for these moments and hold on to them. Luckily for "Rookie Blue" fans, the search is over.
While many fans were shocked and heartbroken to think that Luke may not be returning, TVLine assures that he will be back sometime later this summer. As for Diaz fans, the future doesn't look as bright. While there's no confirmation that he won't make his way back to the show, there are no signs that indicate he will. Fans will just have to wait and see.
And what about Sam? In next week's episode, fans will meet Al Sapienza as "the man and the police officer that Sam modeled himself on," said executive producer Tassie Cameron. "And to hear some of Sam's backstory through that relationship, and to watch him in a relationship with a father figure he respects very much, [is] very illuminating for that character." There will also be a special home movie moment of Sam conducting an early interrogation.
ABC recently renewed the thrilling cop drama for a fifth season. The show is currently in the midst of its fourth season, which airs Thursday nights at 10/9c on ABC.
