Chelsea will face off against Internazionale Milan on Thursday in the third match of the International Champions Cup.

The English side enters the competition in the midst of numerous transfer rumors. Speculation over a transfer of David Luiz has increased over the last few days with news that Barcelona is closing in on a central defender. However, Luiz recently stated that the rumors are untrue.

"My objective is to be happy and this is possible playing always in a team that controls the ball," said Luiz. "Barcelona is the team that has developed the best football in the last few years. I know Barca were interested in my services in the past but now I do not have any news."

The other major rumor circulating around the team relates the transfer of Wayne Rooney. Recent reports indicate that the club is ready to offer up 40 million pounds for the English forward. However, Rooney's club Manchester United has repeatedly denied any movement of the forward.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has repeatedly stated that Rooney is his top target and even released a veiled statement intended for the forward about his position as a backup striker for United.

"Any player that wants to go to the World Cup, if they are a second choice at their club, then they're in trouble, they're in trouble," Mourinho said at a press conference a few weeks ago. "This is a crucial year for that and many national team coaches are worried because they want players to play regularly for their teams."

Inter Milan made a lot of headlines after allowing basketball star Steve Nash tryout for the club. Click here to check out a video from the tryouts.

Prediction: This will be a tight match, but Chelsea is the superior side in this game and will pull off a 2-0 victory. Look for Fernando Torres to score one if he gets a chance to play.
