Summer television series generally pale in comparison to those of the winter. It's more conducive season to sitting around, bundled in mountains of blankets and watching your favorite shows. Summer is a time to be outside on the back porch as the hazy sun sleepily sets on the horizon. But it does have its down sides. If you're one who hate mosquitos, the stickiness of summer skin and the unrelenting heat that keeps you awake but on the verge of passing out, then there's no shame in stepping inside and turning on the tube. Luckily, there are summer series that stand up to television's off months and contend with the big dogs of the fall.
One show worth watching this summer is USA Network's "Suits." The series is currently in its third season as tensions at the firm heat up to the boiling point. As the season rolls out, eager fans looks ahead as to what's on the horizon for their favorite lawyers.
In the upcoming episode, Mike and Rachel have something clever up their sleeves for their enemy colleague Katrina, but Harvey, in classic Harvey form, beats them to the punch. Speaking of Mike and Rachel, fans know that they've had a rocky relationship in the past, but it looks like they're hashing it out so far, however, they've still got a long road ahead.
"I joked with [creator] Aaron [Korsh], 'She has this pattern. I slap him and yell at him, and the next thing, I'm kissing him or sleeping with him or in the file room with him,'" said Meghan Markle, who plays Rachel on the show. "Season 3 finds her breaking this pattern of love and hate now that they're together. It's so multi layered."
