Arsenal will not give up on its pursuit of Luis Suarez and has reportedly made its third bid for the Uruguayan striker. As with the first two bids, Liverpool has rejected it as well.

To punctuate the message, Liverpool's principal owner John W Henry tweeted a rather aggressive message at the Arsenal staff.

"What do you think they're smoking over there at Emirates?" he tweeted.

Arsenal offered 30 million pounds the first time around before bidding 40 million. Apparently, Liverpool was only willing to listen to offers that were higher than 40 million; Arsenal reportedly offered an extra pound to meet the requirements.

Most reports indicate that Liverpool is looking for 50 million pounds to let Suarez go.

Suarez has stated that he maintains interest in making a move away from Liverpool if the team is right. When Arsenal made its initial bid, he expressed enthusiasm over the interest.

"One has to be thankful that despite everything that's happened ... clubs still value players for what they can do on the field," Suarez said during an interview with Uruguayan radio station Sport 890, according to Sky Sports. "That makes me think that I can come back and do things well over there."

Arsenal's striker Olivier Giroud has been among those that support the Suarez move.

"Luis Suarez is someone with whom I could form a good understanding on the pitch," he said, according to the Sun. "So I am in favor of him coming to Arsenal and I am not afraid of the competition for places his arrival would bring about. "
