ABC medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" has added yet another guest star for its upcoming two-hour season 10 premiere. According to TVLine, "The X-Files" actress Veronica Cartwright has been nabbed for a guest role in the Shonda Rhimes flagship. Cartwright, whose character has yet to be revealed, joins a growing list of guest actors for the "Grey's" opener.

As we previously reported, "Being Human" alum Bobby Campo and "Hellcats" vet Heather Hemmens were nabbed for recurring roles in the forthcoming season. The actors will play couple Brian, "a young dedicated fireman," and his fiancé Sasha, "a tough cop with a good heart." Campo and Hemmens are slated to appear in the season's fall premiere with the possibility of returning in future episodes.

The three actors are slated to appear in the dramatic two-hour premiere, which will revolve around a major accident involving hordes of firefighters. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it remains unclear whether the premiere's accident is the same bus accident from the season nine finale.

Production for the season began earlier this month, with several of the show's actors promising great things. Scottish actor Kevin McKidd, who portrays Dr. Owen Hunt, gave fans a sneak peak into filming with photos of his fellow cast members. "Me, justinchambers and @danbucatinsky in the ER!" he tweeted along with a cheery snapshot. He later shared a photo of himself with co-star Patrick Dempsey.

Little has been revealed about the upcoming season; however, it is bound to be filled with juicy relationship drama. When fans last left the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) appeared to be on the verge of a breakup after Arizona's infidelity came to light, while April (Sarah Drew) confessed her love for Jackson (Jesse Williams) despite being engaged.

Fans have plenty to be excited about. "Grey's Anatomy" season 10 premieres on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
