Ubisoft has released a massive video for their upcoming blockbuster title, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, which clocks in just short of 14 minutes long. The video showcases the large open world that players can explore, and shows off the game's ability to switch from land to sea without any load times.

The video takes place early in the game, with main character Edward Kenway not quite an assassin yet, and still hungry for fame and fortune as a pirate. After accepting an assassination quest, the game's map opens up and we see the size of the open world. Players will be able to explore southern Florida, Cuba, the Bahamas, and even the northern parts of South America in the game.

In the demo, the player must assassinate two brothers. This can be accomplished in several ways. Players can chase the targets on foot, shoot them down with firearms, board their ship and take them out along with their crew, or in the demo's case, board your own ship and give chase. The crew cheers when you board the ship, and the player can then chose a variety of ways to take down the enemy ship. If the enemy has valuable cargo, boarding the ship is best; otherwise, players can use a variety of upgrades to blow the ship out of the water. The player hacks down the ship, then boards the vessel and shows off the variety of ways players can approach a ship to ship battle. After taking control of a ship, players have the option to recruit new crew members, send the ship to Kenway's fleet, or salvage parts from the captured vessel for your own ship.

After the battle, the demo moves to the player finding an unmarked location, 75 of which appear in the game. These provide extra benefits for the player, such as special items or upgrades. After finding a treasure map on the location, the player navigates through a storm and exploring the sea shanties options, the player reaches the island where the treasure is located. The player navigates around some guards while taking out others in the series' familiar parkour-style gameplay until he finds the treasure, which is a blueprint for further upgrading the ship. The demo then ends with the player standing triumphant in his quest.

This video is the most impressive Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag demo yet, and shows the breathtaking world Ubisoft has created, as well as the exciting gameplay that players will be able to use.
