Super Smash Bros 4 is coming to both the Wii U and 3DS as separate entities, and fans of the series are clamoring for new information about the game, which is slated for a 2014 release for both consoles. Gamers have been speculating about what characters from Nintendo's extensive roster will appear in the game, so we bring you the top five wish list characters for the roster of Super Smash Bros 4.

5. Slippy (Star Fox Universe)- Slippy, the frog squad member from the Star Fox franchise, is considered by most gamers to be one of the most annoying video game characters of all time. So why not include him into the game? Players will be able to work through all their anger issues by beating Slippy senseless over and over again.

4. Midna (Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)- A popular choice for players back when Brawl was released, Midna never made it into the roster despite her fan support. Midna could add multidimensional gameplay, with players able to switch between her two forms much like Zelda. Plus, who doesn't want to ride a wolf into battle?

3. Snorlax (Pokemon)- Snorlax frequently appears in Smash Bros as a pokeball summons, but now is the time to bring the character into the game. Instead of having two versions of Pikachu, why not have Snorlax be Pokemon's representative to the slow but strong character class? Add in the ability to rest to restore HP and you could have an interesting character.

2. Knuckles (Sonic Universe)- It is unclear if Sega will allow Sonic to appear in the game, but if the company does allow their characters to be in the game, Knuckles makes a much better fit. I mean, his name is Knuckles and he is known for punching foes. How do you not put him into a fighting game?

1. Scrooge McDuck (Ducktales)- Hear me out. We know Mega Man is appearing in the game, and the Ducktales Remastered game is being put out by Capcom, so the possibility of Scrooge being put into the game is not impossible. Plus, imagine having a free for all brawl in the giant gold vault with the greatest cartoon theme song of all time playing in the background. If Dr. Mario and Toon Link can be in the series, why not the world's richest duck?
