Manchester United are determined to land Cesc Fabregas and are reportedly looking to make a third bid for the Barcelona midfielder.

According to ESPN, "Manchester United are preparing to submit a third bid for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, a source has told ESPN."

The team reportedly offered 25 million euros the first time around before reportedly offering up 30 million in a renewed offer. There has been no news on how much the team is prepared to spend for the Spaniard.

"As I understand it, Ed [Woodward, executive vice-chairman] had a response [to the first offer]," said Moyes when he confirmed the second offer. "We have made a second offer, but Ed is dealing with it rather than me.''

"When you are interested in good players, you want to give it every opportunity to materialize," he added. "I will hope things will continue to move forward. At this moment in time, I can only tell you that Ed Woodward is working hard to try and make the deals happen."

Barcelona has maintained that Fabregas wishes to remain at the Camp Nou. The latest opponent of the move is defenseman Gerard Pique.

Pique told The Sun: "United are wasting their time. It took a long time for Cesc to get his dream move back home and he won't give it up. This is home, it is where his family is, and he is playing with his closest friends.

"He has told us he is happy and that he intends to stay with Barcelona."

"We can assure you that we won't listen to any offers for Cesc. It is not an option. Cesc is non-transferable," added Barcelona's Vice President Josep Maria Bartomeu.

"He doesn't want to go to other teams for money reasons or playing time. He knows there is competition for places here, but his decision is to stay. I am relaxed about the situation," concurred former Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova. "It is a good sign that the club gets offers for our players. It shows we have players other teams want. But Fabregas wants to stay."
