Comic-Con landed with a major bang. Its success revived broken fans suffering from the lack of their favorite television series. The panels inspired hope of their triumphant returns and shed details on what looks like a promising future for all. Some shows shared more than others, while some received more attention from the diehards in attendance. That's simply how it goes. For one show, there was an abundance of both, which came as to no surprise at all.

"The Big Bang Theory" has established itself as one of television's most recent success stories. Now entering its seventh season, ratings have never been higher. The series regularly hits 20 million viewers and has topped Fox's "American Idol" among the key adults 18-49 demographic. The comedy sitcom is here to stay and fans were lucky enough to get an idea of what's in store for season seven at Comic-Con this past weekend.

Showrunner Steve Molaro revealed that the new season will find Leonard on the ship after setting sail on a research trip with Stephen Hawking, explore Raj's newfound ability to talk to women, and see Bernadette and Amy take their first trip together, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

And what about Amy and Sheldon? Will they consummate their relationship? "It's a possibility," said Molaro. "Amy will continue trying to get her way."

"It always baffles me how much Amy has gotten Sheldon to move," added co-creator Bill Prady. "With Sheldon, you have a character who comes from a place of 'No, I'm not going to change.' It's a lot of interesting work in the room of, 'What if Amy did this'."

It's also possible that season seven could introduce Raj's parents. "It's entirely possible, we've definitely talked about it," Molaro said.

There's plenty in store for the science driven sitcom this fall as "Big Bang Theory" returns Sept. 26.
