Microsoft's Surface tablet has appeared at the annual Comic-Con International in San Diego, Calif.

The Microsoft tablet was passed around to attendees of the convention to play the game "Halo: Spartan Assault." The 58-second video does not feature a narrator but simply visuals of what to expect at Comic-Con and brief excerpts of the "Halo" gameplay.

"Halo: Spartan Assault" is available at the online Windows Store for $6.99.

Rated "T," for teens due to blood and violence, the game is described as "action-packed" as the player battles through 25 missions against the Covenant. The gamer will also explore the origin of the Spartan Ops program with "Halo 4's" Spartan Commander Sarah Palmer.

In order to play "Halo: Spartan Assault," players are required to sign into Xbox with a Microsoft account.

The Surface's presence at Comic-Con comes as Microsoft reduced the price of the Surface with Windows RT tablets last week. As Latinos Post reported, the tablet-only 32GB Surface with Windows RT at the Microsoft Store is $349, down from the original $449 price, while the 64GB variant will cost the consumer $449 instead of $599. For consumers buying the Surface with Windows RT with a Touch Cover, it will cost an additional $100 for each 32GB and 64GB models.

The Surface with Windows RT's features include a 10.6-inch ClearType Widescreen with 1,366x768 pixels. The tablet utilizes the quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and has 2GB of RAM. The Surface with Windows RT is also able to connect with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n.

The Surface with Windows 8 Pro has been seen a price reduction so far.
