As he did with Unova, Ketchum arrives to Kalos via plane with new attire. The trailer then transitions to show the three new starter Pokémon: Fennekin, Chespin, and Froakie.

Based on the clip, it is unsure if Iris and Cilan will accompany Ketchum to Kalos, perhaps signifying he'll encounter new traveling buddies while in the new region.

As Latinos Post reported, the "Pokémon X and Y" anime series is set to start in Japan on Oct. 17, five days after the worldwide release of the sixth-generation video games. U.S. fans might see the new season by early February 2014, although that is based on the current number of days that separate the Japanese and U.S. anime airdates.

Pokémon fans have started to see pocket monsters from "Pokémon X and Y" in the current season based on the fifth generation. The July 18 episode in Japan saw the debut of journalist Alexa and her Gogoat and Helioptile. Alexa, the journalist sister of Santalune City's Gym Leader Viola of Kalos, will follow Ash, Cilan, and Iris as they travel back to the Kanto region, which will bring an end to the "Pokémon Black and White" saga.

A poster for the upcoming "Pokémon X and Y" anime season also features the latest professor, Augustine Sycamore. He will likely introduce Ketchum to the new region's starter Pokémon in his laboratory.
