The world is still waiting for the Kate Middleton and Prince William's royal baby to arrive. And while a lot of people are already starting to feel edgy about all this camping out and waiting, it seems that the royal household is also feeling restless as well.

According to a report by E! Online, palace insiders have revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge is already two to three days past her due date. The source exclusively told the entertainment news source that Kensington Palace is "operating under the assumption that the Duchess of Cambridge is two to three days late at this point," E reported.

However, according to report by the Telegraph UK, medical staffers at St. Mary's Hospital were told that the royal baby's due date is in fact July 19.

"A small number of staff at St Mary's who might be called upon when the Duchess gives birth were told they had to remain teetotal for a month before the Duchess's due date," a source told the Telegraph. "They were told the due date was July 19, meaning they couldn't drink from June 19 onwards."

The source added that a only a few hospital staff were told about the news "because there are very few hospital staff who might be needed in the case of an emergency."

Another Telegraph report also noted that should the Duchess could go into labor at her parents' home in Buckleberry, a 53-mile drive to St. Mary's Hospital, Kate may likely be brought to the Royal Berkshire Hospital instead.

"There are contingencies in place for wherever the Duchess happens to be, and one of them is the Royal Berkshire," a source said. "It is still a possibility that she could give birth there, though that would only be in extremis, as the expectation is that she will go to St Mary's."

Nonetheless, wherever the royal baby arrives, we can only hope that it arrives soon.
