The return of "The Hunger Games" approaches. In attempt to control the excitement, fans have been rereading the books and rewatching the original film that stole the hearts of viewers worldwide. It's one of the most beloved series since Harry Potter, and there are still three movies to come, the second of which will premiere in November. If early rumors and interviews with the cast and crew are any indication, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is shaping up to be even more enthralling than its predecessor. While that may be hard to believe, recent photos from the set help solidify the claims.

The photos feature Peeta and Katniss as they arrive for the 75th annual Hunger Games in their new battle armor. The aquatic apparel hints that there will be plenty more water than the first book or movie, which will make for some thrilling action scenes in the sequel. Katniss and the others will be swimming for their lives as they use their cunning to try and outsmart the game makers in the Quarter Quell, a special version of The Hunger Games that pins previous champions up against each other. This time around, Katniss and Peetah are more prepared for battle. Hopefully with their new fully equipped armor and experience they can outwit President Snow and come out of the Quarter Quell alive. Check out the photos of Katniss and Peetah, as well as the other competitors, above.

The further fuel the "Catching Fire" flame. "The Hunger Games" Comic-Con panel will take place on Saturday in Hall H with red carpet interview and a subsequent press conference. Fans are hoping that Lionsgate chooses to preview scenes from the arena, as the previous teaser chose not to. It's unclear what exactly is in store for the "Catching Fire" panel, but we do know that Lawrence will make an appearance alongside co-stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Willow Shields and Jeffrey Wright.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" will hit theaters November 22.
