FIFA 14 just got an injection of talent added to the roster, as the upcoming soccer simulation from EA Sports has secured the rights of 19 Brazilian soccer clubs for the game, meaning that several international renowned clubs and players will be available for use in the game. IGN broke the news, and has a list of clubs that have been confirmed for the game.

The clubs that will be in the game include Atlético Mineiro, Atlético Paranaense, Botafogo, Coritiba, Criciúma, Cruzeiro, Flamengo, Fluminense, Goiás, Grêmio, Internacional, Náutico, Palmeiras, Ponte Preta, Portuguesa, Santos, São Paulo, Vasco da Gama, and Vitória. This represents some of the best clubs in the world, as well as many players that play for the soccer powerhouse of a country. David Rutter, one of the men in charge of FIFA 14 for EA Sports had this to say about the news:

"We're very excited to bring the stars of the top Brazilian clubs into our games. For all our fans that support and love Brazilian football, this will only add to the authentic FIFA experience they enjoy, and the additional clubs will bring undiscovered players from Brazil into the FIFA Ultimate Team universe."

This news comes hot off the heels of word that Welsh superstar Gareth Bale will be included in the game, both as a character and as part of the cover for the game. EA Sports used extensive motion capture to bring the superstar to life, and it will be interesting to see if any Brazilian superstars get similar treatment for the game as well.

FIFA 14 promises to elevate the level of realism that will be available in soccer video games. The game will appear on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but it is the next-gen versions of the game that have been hyped the most by the developer. The game will feature revamped ball physics and teammate A.I that will allow for the most realistic soccer experience ever. With an incredible focus on small details like the way different players play the game and the way the crowd reacts to the game will help bring the game to new levels.

The current gen version of FIFA 14 will be out September 29, with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One coming at some point, depending on when those consoles are released. We will bring you latest news about the game as FIFA 14 gets closer to its release date.
