The beta update is valid for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices and addresses bugs on a number of issues include AirPlay, iCloud, and Messages, to name a few.

Only accessible via an Apple developer account, iOS 7 beta 3 reportedly improves its iCloud services, notably the iCloud Keychain feature. According to Apple, a fix on Messages is included following discoveries of empty message lists on new iOS 7 installations and crashes after users viewed attachments on two separate threads.

Apple requests the iOS 7 beta 3, which consist 214MB of data, should only be deployed on devices meant for its software development.
