Apple has released a preview update for their next desktop operating system, Mavericks.

Continuing the two-week cycle, the Cupertino-based company rolled out "OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 3.1.0" on July 8.

According to people who have installed the third Preview version, the build shows no major changes except for minor bug fixes and tweaks based on Preview 2.

Apple Insider noted, "The accompanying release notes suggest changes have been made to how Mavericks handles the forthcoming iCloud Keychain feature, as the seed is not backward compatible with iOS 7 Seed 2 or Mavericks Developer Seed 2. As such, users will need to re-enable iCloud Keychain from the iCloud preferences pane after upgrading to Developer Preview 3."

As Latinos Post reported, it was expected for Apple to rollout an update for their upcoming operating system this week, either for the desktop operating system or mobile operating system, iOS.

Apple is expected to officially launch OS X Mavericks and iOS 7 in the fall season.

The OS X Mavericks was confirmed on July 10 at Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) along with presentations for iOS 7, iTunes Radio, and more.
