It wasn't too long ago that the HTC One Android 4.2.2 update began rolling out in certain parts of the world, and as owners of the handset worldwide wait for the firmware to land in their hometown, here's a quick look at where it's already available.

The first HTC One model to receive the upgrade was the dual-SIM variant in China. Soon after, the international single-SIM variant in Taiwan began getting its dosage of Android 4.2.2, and as Latinos Post reported earlier, users in Europe then started reporting in that Android 4.2.2 had arrived in several countries. Today we have a more specific list of European countries where the HTC One Android 4.2.2 update is available over the air: Russia, United Kingdom, Denmark, Georgia, Norway, Sweden, Romania, Serbia, and Finland.

Bear in mind that just because you are in one of the regions listed above, that does not guarantee an update. OTA rollouts happen in batches, meaning some will receive it before others. Still, if you haven't gotten a notification for an Android 4.2.2 update, it's best to check by going to Settings>About Phone> Check for updates.

Sadly, HTC One owners in the United States will have to wait for an undetermined amount of time longer as the firmware will have to pass through carriers before hitting the public.

The Android 4.2.2 update also comes with a new version of HTC's Sense UI.

Let us know if you've received the HTC One Android 4.2.2 update, where you're located, and any problems you notice in the comments section below.
