The ninth week of the "La Voz Kids" showcased the first of the live shows in which each singer had to perform a song of his or her choice.

The first performer of the week was Kemily who sang "Angel de Amor" by Mana. Prince Royce and Roberto Tapia were impressed by her performance. Paulina Rubio said she was happy to have Kemily on her team and wanted to see her grow even more.

Amanda was the next singer and performed "Dreaming of You" by Selena. She received praise from the coaches with Tapia stating that she had evolved a lot and did an excellent job. Royce later said she was spectacular.  

The following singer was Geoffrey who sang "Valio la Pena" by Marc Anthony. Tapia said he was wonderful and that he should stick to salsa. Rubio was thrilled with his performance and said he was a great artist. Royce loved his performance and praised him for his security and energy.  

Martha interpreted the song "Me Voy" by Julieta Venegas. Royce said she dominated the stage while Rubio said she was a triumph. Tapia agreed and stated that she made the song hers and was on the road to becoming a great star.

The next singer was Hurielzu who "Hasta Que te Conoci" by Juan Gabriel. Tapia loved the performance and said she had a wonderful voice. Rubio congratulated her while Royce said she was passionate on stage.

Alondra was the following performer and interpreted "Contigo Aprendi" by Luis Miguel. Royce begged Alondra to go to his team because she was so perfect. Tapia said he was sad she did not pick to his team from the start while Rubio said she was happy to have Alondra on her team.

The next performer was Adam who sang "Aquí Estoy Yo" by Luis Fonsi. Tapia said he was a privileged singer while Royce said he had a great voice. Rubio was happy with Adam's performance and said he was original.

Kim followed Adam by performing "Que te Queria" from the band La 5ª Estacion. Tapia said that Kim reminded him of a young Rubio. Royce said she was a rock star while Rubio said she did a good job.

Hugo later performed "Que Lloro" by Sin Bandera and cried on stage. Tapia went up to the stage and hugged him. He later praised Hugo for his effort and his voice and said he was honored to have him on his team.

The next singer was Angela who sang "Adios le Pido" from Juanes. Rubio was happy with her progression throughout the show while Tapia said she was fabulous. Royce agreed with the other two coaches and said she dominated the stage.

The following singer was Sean who sang "Si no Te Hubieras Ido" by Marc Antonio Solis. He received a standing ovation from the audience and the coaches. Royce said he was happy with his evolution and thrilled with his interpretation.

Later Jeidimar sang "Ya Me Canse" by Olga Tanon. Rubio said she was secure on the stage and was born to be a star. Royce said she had a good attitude while Tapia said she was one of the best in the whole competition.

Jennifer Rubio was the following performer of the night. She sang "Un dia de Suerte" by Alejandra Guzman and garnered a standing ovation from the coaches. Tapia and Rubio said she was incredible and a star while Royce said he was scared because she was tough competition.

The following participant was Emily who sang "Como tu mujer" by Jenni Rivera. Rubio and Royce were in shock by how strong Emily's performance was. They praised her for her strength and her talent.  Tapia was thrilled with her evolution and her grace on stage.

Alan followed by singing "La Enorme Distancia" by Vicente Fernandez.  Rubio said she has happy to see him sing while Royce said he was brilliant. Tapia said he was wonderful and would be a great Ranchero singer in the future.

The next singer of the night was Alanis who sang "Ni Freud Ni Tu Mama" by Belinda. Both Royce and Tapia said she was born to be a rock star. Rubio also agreed with the other two coaches and said she be a future Billboard winner.

Paola next sang "Quimbara" by Cecilia Cruz and obtained a standing ovation. Rubio said she was incredible and was already a great singer. Meanwhile Tapia said she was phenomenal and Royce added that she would be a superstar in the future.  

The last performer of the night was Brian who sang "Yo No Fui" by Pedro Fernandez. Royce and Rubio applauded his energy and charisma. Tapia was thrilled with Brian's performance and said that he danced wonderfully.

Next week two voices from each team will be eliminated. The next episode will air on Telemundo on Sunday.
