She's one of the most prolific singers in the industry. She rapidly became one of the music industry's biggest stars. Her future was bright. The sky was the limit. Then, as many young pop sensations do, she began to falter. The stress of fame became too heavy for her petite shoulders to bear. She went off the deep end. Tragic. Her low was a desperate cry for attention that led her to chop off her hair. Now it may not sound too awful, but the media had a hay day. She was destroying everything she had earned. But then something happened. She matured. She grew up. She over came her demons and climbed back on the horse, releasing a new, empowering album and restoring the look that made her famous. She found success once again and now there's no end in sight.

Britney Spears is on the verge of releasing her eighth studio album. Fans could not be more please. The new Britney sings with a soul and passion, busting out the classic pop tunes that define an industry and nestle their way into your heart. Fans are excited, as is she.

"Really excited 2 give u a taste of my album... can't wait 2 share hat I've been working on. Going to be my most personal album ever :)" Spears tweeted on July 3.

Spears has yet to announce an official release date, but the album is expected to drop later this year. In Billboard's Mid-Year Music Awards poll, fans voted it as the most anticipated album of 2013, which comes as no surprise. People love Britney. Her years off the grid were gritty and difficult to watch, but now she's back. She's a rare success story that crawled from the depths of celebrity despair. It's not an easy task, but she achieved it all the same. She's back and she's here to stay.
