It is America's birthday today, and gamers all over the country are celebrating the 4th of July with their own unique fanfare and hoopla. In honor of the holiday, we bring you the top 5 patriotic games of all time.

5. Saints Row 4- Though this game is not out yet (it comes out August 20), anyone who sees footage of the game knows how ridiculously patriotic this game is. For one thing, the playable character is the President of the United States, a bald eagle jet is a preorder bonus, and there is a dubstep gun available.

4. WWE 13- Fact: The WWE once employed gold-medalist Kurt Angle. Fact: Hulk Hogan once wrestled in the early 2000's as Mr. America, as if he was not enough of an American icon. Fact: Currently one wrestler, Jack Swagger, is nicknamed "The All-American American." Obviously WWE 13 has earned this spot on the list.

3. America's Army- This game, developed by the US army, has got to be part of this list. While some people accused the game of being an obvious recruiting tool for the government, other accused it of merely being a mediocre shooter. In either case, it is a very patriotic game and deserves to be in this list.

2. Any Battlefield or Call of Duty game- These games often task the user to become a one man killing machine in charge of taking down America's enemies through a variety of environments and time periods. Even the games that take place in a ruined or downtrodden America still paint these guys as the ultimate killing machines: Team America all the way.

1. Fallout 3- This game takes place in a nuclear wasteland in the Washington DC area, and even though America is no more, we see the technological advantages and ultra-patriotic characters throughout the game. This game may be soaked in satire at America's expense, but it is still the most patriotic game of all time.
