If Samsung lives up to the expectation, then the Galaxy Note 3 phablet will be one of the most powerful mobile devices again when it hits the market this fall.

A new report out of Korea states that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, in addition to the Optimus G2, will be shipping with 3GB RAM. That would give the Galaxy Note 3 having 50 percent more RAM processing power than current high-end smartphones such as the Galaxy S4 and should translate to some beefy performance. This isn't the first time the Galaxy Note 3 has been tipped to sport 3GB RAM, but it does add some more credence to the spec rumor.

Samsung has not officially announced the tablet, and is in fact said to be finishing up deciding what exactly the Galaxy Note 3 will utilize in terms of hardware, so remember to take it with a grain of salt. Still, given the direction Samsung has taken in the past, touting its Galaxy Note series as having the best performance around, it's not unlikely.

Other rumored specs for the Galaxy Note 3 are also quite impressive. The phabet is said to come with either a 5.7-inch or 6-inch 1080p display, either an Exynos 5 Octa eight-core processor or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at over 2GHz, an impressive 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and the latest versions of Android and the Samsung S Pen electronic stylus.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 should be revealed at a Samsung Unpacked event on Sept. 4, right around the time the IFA electronics conference takes place in Berlin. The handset should then begin releasing across markets around the world before the year ends.
