Selena Gomez's single "Come and Get It" hit No.1 on the charts, becoming the artist's first song to ever reach the top, Hollywood.com writes.

"I didn't think I'd do it," Selena Gomez responded when she got wind of the news.

In a video posted on her official YouTube account, Gomez is shown a phone where she reads that her single had reached number one.

Gomez is clearly in an adorable combination of disbelief, shock, and thankfulness as she falls to the couch and buries her face in her hands, repeatedly saying "Oh my gosh!"

Gomez is seen saying "Oh my God! I did it? I got my number one?! Are you kidding me!" after she receives the news.

Hollywood.com is not as surprised as she is, as the song has been repeatedly played over the airwaves.

The video then cuts to Selena thanking radio stations and her fans for requesting the song.

On Twitter, Gomez posted "This has been 1 of my proudest achievements & I couldn't do it without everyone! So grateful" along with a screenshot of her song reaching Top 1.

Starpulse reports that Gomez is "at the peak of her music career, post breaking up from her band The Scene."

Stars Dance, the title of her new album, makes its launch in July, with a world tour kicking off in August.

A few days ago, Selena was photographed having a wardrobe malfunction during a concert in Boston, accidentally showing her underwear during her performance.

Earlier, Hollywood Life also photographed the star wearing her former beau Justin Bieber's shirt as she was walking along Disneyland.

Just recently, Taylor Swift has also been been reported to come to Selena's aid and playing cupid, reportedly bridging Selena to start a relationship with Austin Mahone, DNA India writes.
