One of the largest U.S. retailers is reportedly planning on carrying the iPhone 5 under T-Mobile.

T-Mobile, which became the fourth carrier to sell the iPhone 5 earlier this year, will offer their services at Walmart.

According to TMONews, the T-Mobile offer at Walmart is only for pre-paid accounts. Purchasing an iPhone 5 with America's fourth-largest mobile carrier will also cost the consumer $629. The report added only the 16GB black and white models are available for the deal.

Meanwhile, Virgin Mobile has announced it will sell a contract-free iPhone 5 and Radio Shack will assist in the deal. According to The Mac Observer, the off-contact 16GB iPhone 5 will cost $549.99, $649.99 for the 32GB variant, and the 64GB model will be priced at $749.99.

Virgin Mobile is also selling the iPhone 4S for $399.99 and $299.99 for the iPhone 4.

Virgin Mobile's subscription plans include a $35 per month plan or $30 for customers opting the auto-payment option. Radio Shack is also offering a $50 credit when an old mobile device is traded with the retailer.

The iPhone 5 features a screen size of 4 inches with 1,136x640 pixels at 326 pixels per inch. The internal storage models come with 1GB of RAM but no microSD card slot. The wireless connectivity for the latest Apple smartphone includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.0, and USB version 2.0. The camera specifications include an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 3,264x2,448 pixels and a front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The smartphone, which launched in September 2012, has 1,440mAh to provide up to 225 hours on standby and eight for talk time when under a 3G network.
