The debate between Rodrigo Lara and Javier Ortiz continues. Rodrigo meets at a press conference in which the press questions his integrity because of a fraudulent check that Javier Ortiz revealed during the debate.Luis Carlos and Rodrigo Lara try to figure out where the check and conversation came from. However the two don't know.
In the meantime Santolini and Ortiz continue to attack Lara in the press and during an interview with El Espectador they make it clear that Pablo Escobar has nothing to do with narcotics and that Lara and Galan are corrupt politicians.
The newspaper, El Espectador decides to ally with Lara trying to find proof against Escobar.
Meanwhile in Medellin the police raid an airport interrupting Gonzalo's delivery of drugs to the USA. Regina goes to Congress and confronts Santolini accusing him of getting Escobar involved in the corrupt policies.
Patty confronts Gonzalo about Pablo's personal life and asks if he is cheating on her. Gonzalo ignores the situation and decides to leave.
During a press conference Lara tells the press that they raided an airport full of drugs and tells them that a member of congress is involved in drug trafficking.
That night Pablo Escobar sees Lara's declarations on television.
Lara's wife becomes worried about her safety and her families.Reporter Nikki continues her investigation on Escobar trying to find proof of his illegal business. Nikki finds out that Escobar was put in jail in his early years for smuggling cocaine. However Guillermo, El Espectador's editor, does not public the story.
Lara is summoned to an ethical counsel putting him on trial. Lara confronts Galan about the hearing as their relationship suffers.
Defending himself Pablo Escobar decides to hold a press conference. He says that he gives 24 hours to Lara to give proof or else he will accuse him to the police for slander.
Regina and Pablo celebrate their triumph at the press conference and continue their love affair.
As a result of Escobar's threat, El Espectador decides to publish an article about Escobar's imprisonment and his association with narcotics.
Gonzalo brings Escobar the news, which infuriates him.The next episode will air tomorrow at 10pm on Telemundo.
