It doesn't seem like Chris Brown will be getting off the radar anytime soon. The R&B singer has seen a slew of controversies in just the past few months and another one is budding to be a full blown legal battle.

On Tuesday, Brown was charged with hit-and-run and driving without a valid license after an L.A. traffic accident last month. According to MTV, the singer was involved in an accident with a Mercedes Benz but allegedly refused to show his driver's license and even gave false insurance details, before fleeing the scene.

With that, an L.A. City Attorney filed two charges against the Grammy Award-winning performer. If convicted, he can face six months in jail for each offense.

But Chris Brown is firing back. On Tuesday, the singer took to Twitter his frustrations, defending himself from all the buzz surrounding the car crash incident.

"It's not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars)," Brown tweeted. "This is really ridiculous."

The singer then started posting a string of tweets to clear out what has really happened during the incident. He even changed his profile picture to what he says is the "pic I took of the persons car after 'the hit and run.' NO DAMAGE."

"I have a valid drivers license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene... She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures."

Brown also turned his anger towards TMZ for "accusing" him with "assaulting someone...and now today it's some more bs." He said in another tweet that he will be having his lawyers contact the entertainment news site.

Ending his Twitter rant, Brown posted the bible verse "2 Corinthians 12:10" which reads: That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
