Mexican singer Thalia is celebrating her son Matthew Alejandro's second birthday. The 41-year-old took to Instagram to share her happiness with her fans, posting some pictures of her and her little son, who is the second child of Thalía and music executive Tommy Mottola. The couple is also parents to Sabrina Sakaë Mottola, who was born on October 7, 2007.

"Happy birthday love of my life! Happy Birthday my beloved son! Two years!", the 'Queen of Telenovelas' captioned the pictures in her Twitter account. In the three collages she posted, the "Amor a La Mexicana" singer included the very first picture of Matthew (also known as "Yuyu") published by ¡Hola! Magazine along with some of their most recent ones, which Thalía had already shared on Twitter.

In unrelated news, the Mexican superstar recently lost a legal battle against Genomma Lab International, who sued the starlet for breach of contract. The pharmaceutical company accused Thalía of affecting their image by not informing them she was pregnant when signing an agreement.

Genomma complained "the image of a pregnant woman doesn't correspond to the one stipulated in the contract". However, the company continued to pay her for the entire pregnancy, then sued after she had given birth.

Thalía is one of Mexico's most successful singer-songwriters and is considered one of the best-selling Latin musicians of all time. She was also included in Univision Networks' list of the "25 Most Influential Mexican Musicians" and was the first Latin celebrity to appear in "Rebonds," the publication of French company Louis Vuitton.

In 1997, the government of Los Angeles, California, even declared April 25 as Thalia's National Day, as her popularity among the Latino community kept growing. It has been announced that sometime this year she will receive her very own star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in recognition of her stellar career and her legacy to the world of entertainment.
