iOS 7 Features: Lightning Cable Detection Bypassed [Video]

Following reports of some Lightning cables not being recognized with the iOS 7, a group has set out to devise a solution.

iPhone5Mod has created a solution to bypass the authentication functions of the iOS 7, Apple's latest mobile operating system currently available in beta form.

Touted to be the world's first third-party Lightning cable for iOS 7, iPhone5Mod have a few set of cables for devices with the next mobile platform.

The first Lightning cable is simply known as the "Apple Lightning Cable for iOS 7.0," and it's priced at $6.90. A "Glowing Lightning Cable" is also available for $15.90. The Lightning cables are available in either black or white color options.

The iPhone5Mod's Lightning cables are compatible with the iPhone 5, iPod touch 5G, seventh generation of the iPod nano, and the iPad mini.

Although not available yet, iOS 7 users can start pre-ordering variants of the Lightning cable, such as the Retractable Lightning Cable, 30pin to Lightning Adapter, and Lightning Car Charger, to name a few.

iOS 7, which will be available for all to install in the fall season, was announced two weeks ago during the keynote speech at the 2013 Worldwide Developers Conference.
