Two weeks following its initial debut, Apple has provided an update to its next mobile operating system.

The iOS 7 beta 2 was released today with bug fixes and improvements to the first beta distributed during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).

The beta update, according to Apple, should only be deployed "on devices dedicated for iOS 7 beta software development."

BGR noted some of the new features in the beta such as the return of the Voice Notes app. An improvement for the Messages app includes the notification of when the message is sending, delivered, and read. Also, in Settings, the iTunes and App Store options and settings are seen together.

According to 9to5Mac, the iOS 7 beta is compatible for the iPad and iPad mini tablets. The tablets' addition follows the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and the fifth-generation of the iPod touch.

By visiting Apple's Developer page, people can download iOS 7 beta as long as they have an iOS developer account, which cost $99 per year through Apple. The iOS 7 beta is prone to potential bugs and crashes since it is still in its early stages, which is why Apple promotes the beta version, to avoid such occurrences ahead of its full launch.

iOS 7, which will be available for all to install in the fall season, was announced during last Monday's keynote speech at the 2013 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Immediate changes with iOS 7 include typography, icons, and new colors. Apple stated the changes may not be apparent to users at first, but claimed everything works together to create a "harmonious relationship" amongst the iOS elements.
