Casting has started on the new "Star Wars Episode 7" and producers have already blacklisted a couple of names.

The actors that are not being considered include Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. A source told Hollywoodlife.com that the two actors had a large fanbase that would create too much hype and hysteria. "There is no chance that Kristen Stewart or Rob Pattinson will be offered a role for any of the films, they won't even be sent the script," the source stated.

The comments were in response to Stewart and Pattinson's interest in the series. According to a source the former couple said that they would be willing to consider a part in the upcoming film. The insider stated, "They aren't thinking of Star Wars themselves right now, but if it was offered to them, they would 100% talk to executives, JJ and Disney. It would be foolish for them not to take that call."

Last week a casting breakdown was sent out to agents that described two roles. One character was described as a "late-teen female, independent, good sense of humour, fit" while the other was "a late twenty something male, fit, handsome and confident."

Stewart and Pattinson are not the first actors to show interest in "Episode 7." Previously Dwayne Johnson, Kelly Russell, Sam Witwer, Diane Kruger and Ian McDiarmid expressed desire to be in the new installment. Casting rumors have also spread with many speculating that Jonathan Rhys Meyers would play a role in the new film.

Meanwhile Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill are also rumored to reprise their roles from the original trilogy but nothing had been confirmed.

"Star Wars Episode 7" is slated to begin production in early 2014 with a target launch date set for the summer of 2015. J.J. Abrams will direct a script by Michael Arndt while Lucasfilms President Kathleen Kennedy will produce.
