The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is still months away, but that hasn't stopped avid tipsters from digging up any bit of information on the phablet. The latest, far ahead of its projected fall release date, is an early look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Website Techkiddy, via unnamed Chinese sources, managed to get its hands on what it claims are actual pictures of the Galaxy Note 3 (shown above). The images seem to fall in line with previous rumors that the Galaxy Note 3 would be similar to the Galaxy S4 in design.

Initial rumors about the Galaxy Note 3 indicated that Samsung was pursuing designs involving a metal body or a flexible screen. However, as time wore on, Samsung was reported to settle on a design element similar to the South Korean giant's current flagship, the Galaxy S4. While critics have complained about the plasticky feel of the Galaxy S4, the handset has gone on to become Samsung's best-selling handset.

This isn't the first leaked picture of the Galaxy Note 3, as SamMobile released some shots of an initial prototype they managed to get their hands on. Bear in mind that Samsung hasn't confirmed any of the photographs, but the company hasn't denied them either. Based on current reports, it's more than likely the Galaxy Note 3's design won't change much from the one pictured above.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 should be revealed in early September, around the IFA electronics trade show in Berlin. A worldwide launch should follow soon after, just in time for the holidays.

As of now, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to launch with a 6-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked in above 2GHz, 3GB RAM, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and the latest versions of Android and the S Pen electronic stylus.
