The Nokia Lumia 925 has officially launched in China.

During a Beijing event, the Lumia 925 was confirmed to go on sale in July with two major Chinese carriers. China Mobile and China Unicom will sell the Lumia 925 for 3,999 Yuan, which equates to $653 when converted to the U.S. dollar.

In addition to the Chinese debut, Nokia announced Lumia 925 buyers will obtain a three-month subscription to the movie service Sohu.

As Latinos Post reported, a "Man of Steel" variant of the Lumia 925 was scheduled to release in China. The Superman model of the Lumia 925 was confirmed and will be priced at 4,299 Yen, or $701 in the U.S.

The Lumia 925 first announced in London during an event on May 14, where Nokia execs confirmed the Windows Phone 8 smartphone would launch in Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom in June as well. As for U.S. customers, the Lumia 925 has been confirmed for T-Mobile, but a release date has not been set.

The Lumia 925's features include a 4.5-inch display with 1,280x768 pixels and a 2,000mAh battery capacity for the 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. The Lumia 925's wireless connections include the latest Bluetooth and NFC technology. The maximum standby time is 440 hours and just over 12 hours of talk time under a 3G network.
