Apple fans are showcasing their concepts for the next smartphone ahead of reports of a third-quarter launch.

ConceptsiPhone featured a video showing "Edge-to-Edge" display for the iPhone 6. In comparison to the current iPhone 5, the concept shows the width of the screen expand to the side of the device.

The iPhone 6 concept also featured a multi-touch gesture support with the removal of the home button.

"For those who don't embrace change very well, the gestures you have grown accustom to are all supported by default," noted the video. "Things like tap to go home, hold for Siri, and double-tap to multitask. For the adventurous, 'HomePad' gestures are 100 [percent] customizable. Make it yours, be productive and buy another one when this phone is obsolete in 9 months."

The Safari Internet browser will experience changes, according to the concept, with the user having the ability to tap left or right to switch tabs. The idea to tap left or right carries on to navigating songs, emails, and text messages.

The iPhone 6 concept shows the smartphone to have a depth of 0.30-inch, width of 2.31 inches, and length of 4.87-inches. The concept has the smartphone's Retina Display at 4.5 inches with 1,296x754 pixel resolution. The camera specifications increase vastly compared to the iPhone 5 with the rear-facing camera having 20.2 megapixels and eight megapixels for the front-facing camera.

The concept even goes as far to provide a battery capacity of 2,800mAh for 300 hours of standby time and 12 hours of talk time while under a 4G network.

Finally, ConceptsiPhone has the iPhone 6 in four internal storage models, from 16GB for $0, 64GB for $199, 128GB for $299, and 256GB for $399.

What do you think of the concept?
