Rumors continue to abound about the HTC One Mini, which seems to have had an inevitable release announcement for weeks now. But some of those rumors have now been confirmed, when - Oops! - HTC accidentally posted its user agent profile with details on the new set to an HTC domain in Taiwan. And you can still see the details on the site.

The HTC One Mini has been leaked and rumored for a long time now, since February, back when it was commonly called the HTC M4 (and when its older cousin, the HTC One was only known as the M7). According to the Next Web on Monday, HTC has inadvertently substantiated claims that the still-concealed handset exists, as well as confirming that its name will be the HTC One Mini.

You can see the accidental leak of the user agent profile for yourself on HTC's Taiwanese domain htcmms.com.tw, which as of the writing of this report, was still live. Other details seemingly confirmed by the unintentional leak include confirmation that the new device will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and will be sporting a 720p screen resolution. The 720p high definition screen was previously rumored because of a couple of anonymous leaks of the One Mini's purported specs, along with photos of the handset.

Other information from previous leaks include a possible 4.3-inch display, seemingly corroborated by leaked photos of the device next to an HTC One, dual front-facing speakers, and the aluminum frame that the HTC One has, albeit with a thin plastic rim around the edge of the faceplate. Other rumoed features include a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, an Ultrapixel camera that has high definition video recording capability, HTC's Blinkfeed UI.

The HTC One Mini is also rumored to have 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM, but as with all unconfirmed reports, we'll have to wait until we hear something official to know for sure. You can probably count on some of these leaked features to be right, though, and I would bet on the existence and name of the HTC One Mini at this point.

Keep checking back with us for more updates on the HTC One Mini and other smartphones as they happen.
