The HTC One was expected to receive its bump up to Android 4.2.2 last week, and while the new version of Jelly Bean still hasn't rolled out, there is some good news: it's still coming, but nobody knows when.
U.K. wireless carrier Three took to Twitter to answer a concerned customer's question about the release of Android 4.2.2 for the HTC One. It seems that HTC did in fact pull Android 4.2.2 at the last second for reasons unknown.

"Hi, we've learnt HTC have just pulled the 4.2.2 release, we don't have a new schedule for this," Three tweeted.
The carrier's comments echo HTC's position on the matter. While it's been hard to get an official comment on the Android upgrade for the HTC One, it seems that Engadget was able to get HTC to respond. The tech manufacturer told Engadget that Android 4.2.2 was still on the way but gave no release time frame and instead told interested parties they would simply have to wait a little longer.
While this isn't as encouraging as an actual date, it seems that HTC's ambassador to France Yves Wi wasn't too far off when he said that Android 4.2.2 for the HTC One was imminent. There doesn't seem to be a concrete reason for the update being "pulled," although if Samsung's problems are any indicator, it could be some issues with the Sense UI. The Android 4.2.2 HTC One update is said to include an upgraded version HTC's front-end interface, Sense 5.1.
Look for HTC to push this update out as soon as possible, since rival flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S4 are already running Android 4.2.2.
