Jordan and Oman will look to salvage their World Cup hopes when they face-off in the World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday.

The top two teams in Group B of the AFC qualifiers earn automatic berths to the World Cup finals next summer. The third place side must then face off against the third place team in Group A for a chance to take on the CONMEBOL's fifth place team. The winner of the latter playoff books a spot among the 32 teams competing for the World Cup.

Jordan and Oman's situation is complicated as only one team will be able to qualify for second or third place in the group. Japan has already clinched the top spot in Group B and Australia has already booked at least the third place spot. Oman trails the Aussies by one points; Oman has nine and can earn the second spot if Australia loses against Iraq. Jordan has seven points and can only earn third place in the qualifiers.

Oman's tournament got off to a tough start with a 3-0 loss against Japan. The team then earned a 0-0 draw against Australia and a 1-1 tie against Iraq. Oman then defeated Jordan 2-1, but suffered defeat against Japan and drew against Australia. In its most recent game, Oman defeated Iraq with a 1-0 victory.

Jordan has compiled two wins, one draw and four losses. The team is coming off a 4-0 defeat against Australia.

Prediction:  Oman pulls off a 1-0 win.

Start Time: Kick Off begins at 12 PM EST.
