Amanda Bynes claims that the bizarre antics that have contributed to her media buzz and downward spiral of controversy is all a part of her master plan to raise the level of her celebrity.
According to RadarOnline, a publicist has leaked a conversation he had with Bynes via texting which reveals that she has been putting on an act to score attention before the release of her new movie.
"All this has been an act and you know it!" Bynes allegedly texted publicist Jonathan Jaxson on Thursday night. "I am an actress and know what I am doing."
"I got to 2 million followers and now everyone wants me. I am smart and not stupid. Everyone mentions my name. The world loves me!"
Jaxson shared a screenshot image of the conversation he claims that he had with the troubled actress on his twitter account.
He also tweeted, "Sooo @AmandaBynes has told tonight that she has been 'acting' this entire time on Twitter to get attention as she prepares for next movie!"
However, if indeed Bynes' alleged drug use, recent arrest and celebrity Twitter attacks are all for fun, it would only make her seem even weirder.
The 27-year-old actress' Twitter tirade continued last week when she attacked Miley Cyrus and called her "ugly" while the "We Can't Stop" singer's name was a trending topic on the site Wednesday.
Bynes, a former Nickelodean child star, tweeted a curt message to the rising pop singer, frankly stating, "Ur ugly @mileycyrus."
To further drive her point home, the 27-year-old actress also attached a photo of Cyrus at the recent Billboard Music Awards.
