Cameroon and Congo DR will look to keep their World Cup hopes alive when they face off on Sunday.

Group I had been the most competitive group in qualifiers until Libya defeated Togo on Friday and opened up some space atop the group. The eventual group winner moves on to the third round to take on another group winner for a chance to play in Brazil next summer.

Libya's nine points gives them a three point lead over Cameroon and a four point advantage over Congo DR. The former club can still win the group with two straight victories, while the latter needs to win to keeps it qualification hopes alive.

If Cameroon wins, it would automatically jump into a tie with Libya atop the group. If this scenario played out, Congo DR would be eliminated as the team would remain four points behind first place with only one match and three points left for them to win. If the two sides played to a draw Congo DR would also be eliminated as it would only be able to acquire a maximum of nine points. Cameroon and Libya are slated to face-off in September with the winner likely to take the group. Even if that match ended in a draw, one or both of the clubs would acquire 10 points and eliminate Congo DR. A victory is the only option for Congo DR; fortunately they will take on Cameroon at home.

Congo DR has never qualified for the World Cup finals; Cameroon is looking to earn its seventh berth in the World Cup.

Prediction:  Cameroon earns a 2-0 victory to eliminate Congo DR.

Start Time: Kick off starts at 2 PM Eastern Standard Time.

TV Info: The match will not be transmitted on television in North America.
