Two months have made a difference in the Windows Phone market share as the Lumia 820 jumped from fifth place to second with 13.3 percent. The new second place finish is an increase from the eight percent recorded in April 2013.

The Lumia 710 saw a decline in its statistics, previously third with 13 percent to 3.6 percent for a seventh place finish. The new third place Windows Phone device is the Lumia 800, also with 13.3 percent for June. The Lumia 800 was in second place in the April AdDuplex figures.

In fourth place is the first non-Nokia Lumia smartphone. The HTC 8X finished at 5.8 percent, ahead of the HTC 8S' 5.2 percent. It is an improvement for both HTC devices compared to April, receiving four percent, each, two months ago.

AdDuplex based their information on Microsoft's Windows Phone mobile operating system by gathering data from 701 Windows Phone apps with the AdDuplex SDK version 2. The data was accrued on June 7.
