With the third season of "Hart of Dixie" slowly approaching, diehards are digging deeper and deeper to unveil clues as to what's on the horizon for season 3. Unfortunately, there's very little to share at this point, as filming remains a distant thought, but some new photos are on the way, and fans can now catch a behind-the-scenes look at what they're going to look like.

The CW has released a photo featuring Kaitlyn Black, who plays Annabeth on the show. There's not much substance to the photo, as filming has yet to begin, however the stunning image still gives fans a little taste of "Hart of Dixie." In the first two seasons, Annabeth has not starred as a series regular, however she did have a much larger roe in season 2, leading fans to believe that she could become even more prominent in season 3. Check out the photo below.

The official Twitter account for the series posted the photo as a promotional piece, the first to come from the new season since the season 2 finale aired last month.

During the finale, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) left for a summer in New York City to clear her mind after a heartbreaking break-up with Wade (Wilson Bethel) and an unplanned love confession to George (Scott Porter).

In a last-minute effort to save his relationship with Zoe, Wade caught up with her before she left and said he wanted one last chance. Unfortunately for Wade, and hardcore Zade shippers, Zoe told the handsome bar owner that she needed some time to reevaluate their relationship. Fans will be happy to know that won't be the end of Zade's complicated relationship.

As previously reported, according to TVLine, executive producer Leila Gerstein said that Wade's cheating and the couple's breaking up "was never intended to be the end" of their relationship. Actor Wilson Bethel helped add to Zade fans' hopes by saying that a fully developed Zoe-Wade "scenario" in the upcoming season "seems pretty logical." Bethal added, "It's probably good that there's a bit of anticipation about what she will do" come the fall.

In an interview with TV Fanatic during The CW Upfronts, Bethal also said that he hopes his character does a lot of maturing and that he'd like Wade to "be happily in love with Zoe" in the upcoming third season. Zade fans are sure to agree.

"Hart of Dixie" will return to The CW this fall.
