Edward Snowden, the now notorious NSA whistleblower is said to be currently hiding from the spotlight somewhere in Hong Kong, but people from all around the globe seem to be asking the same question: who is the man behind the mask?

Though not currently active on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, Snowden was an avid poster to website ArsTechnica over the past 10 years, having reportedly posted over 700 times since 2006. Within these posts, a biography is painted of the young man's love for computers, technology, sexual escapades, Krispy Kreme donuts and more.

The Daily Mail has compiled a steamy look at Snowden's sex life through posts where he revealed, for example, that in the bedroom one of his ex-girlfriends would "kind of sadly paw at my manhood like a cat after it has killed the prey." Apparently a cowboy in the bedroom, Snowden also posted even steamer intimacies about how "there have been times when I've had sex marathons from sundown 'til sunrise."

And after his sexual escapades? Snowden suggests post-sex trips to a nearby Krispy Kreme drive-thru to pick up one of the warm "fresh of the line" donuts to keep on the bedside.

"You have not lived until you've rolled over to post-coital Krispy Kremes," he wrote. "That's what being an American is all about. I recommend them."

The gossip hounds at Gawker have also published a report about Snowden's early days in the tech world, where he worked at a small anime art company run by his friends, the now defunct Ryuhana Press. Gawker has posted Snowden's profile from his stint at Ryuhana, where Snowden gives fans a personal portrait of himself, his likes, dislikes and so on.

The profile lists his name, along with nicknames, including "Edowaado, Phish and The Tru HOOHA." Oddly, Snowden's birthdate is listed as "6/21/83 The Summer Solstice. The Longest Day Of The Year," yet he claims he is 36 years old.

And then on to the "Book of Ed," Snowden's more in-depth profile:

"I like Japanese, I like food, I like martial arts, I like ponies, I like guns, I like food, I like girls, I like my girlish figure that attracts girls and I like my lamer friends. That's the best biography you'll get out of me, coppers!" Snowden writes.

He reveals that he got "bullied into being an editor at this fine specicmin of a Web site by a gaggle of artists...I like to write simply because it's a way for me to use adjectives," he says. "I always wanted to write RPG campaigns with my spare time, but I'll get about three missions in and scrap the world for my next, better, powergamin' build."

Snowden also wrote that he loves playing the fighting video game "Tekken" and boasted that he was so skilled that he attracted a gathering of fans at the 2002 Anime USA Convention. Details of the technophile's love of all things computer and anime-related goes on.

To sum up this man of many feats, an ex-coworker posted on the site that Snowden "tends to spontaneously be a ray of sunshine and inspiration. He's a great listener, and he's eager to help people improve themselves."

Snowden fled his home in Hawaii last week prior to the now notorius leaks he disseminated via The Guardian about a network of NSA agents spying on American electronic activity — email, text messages, phone conversations, Skype chats, and much more — through a secretive organization known as PRISM. Since traveling to Hong Kong, and giving an interview to the South China Morning Post Wednesday where he posited the NSA had engaged in roughly 61,000 global hacking operations, including initiatives aimed specifically at China, Snowden has fallen silent. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
