Following the recent launch of the new single of Yandel as a soloist, "Hablé de ti", separation rumors of reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel reappeared. After the spread of these comments, manager of the artists Jennifer Nieman denied the speculation once again.

"About 10 years ago, Yandel recorded a solo album and Wisin did the same. At that time people also thought that they had separated but they never stopped doing shows together," Nieman declared to the magazine People en Español.

The manager refers to 2004, when Yandel (Llandel Veguilla Malava) presented his album, "Quien Contra Mi." At the same time, Wisin (Juan Morera Luna) launched "El sobreviviente." However, after that experience, the artists returned to performing and recording together.

"Now is happening just the same: they are doing their solo projects, his solo songs and collaborating with other people, but they are also going to present new songs as Wisin y Yandel, and they won't stop doing shows together," Nieman added.

Regarding the group performances, one concert will take place during Labor Day weekend, Aug. 31, and another Sept. 1, at the Festival People en Español. The event will be held in San Antonio and will include artists such as Demi Lovato, Alejandro Fernandez and Gloria Estefan.

Originally, the separation rumor of Wisin y Yandel began after Don Omar's statements during a May concert in Puerto Rico. The singer, friend of the group, had announced to his fans that the duo had decided to separate.

Nieman persistently denied Omar's comments, and ensured that "they wanted to have a space to create music individually, considering it healthy, but they are still together. They are like family, and get along super well, without resentment or friction".

The Puerto Rican duo has 14 years of experience, during which they have released 16 albums and received numerous awards. The band is one of the most important in reggaeton music, and has recorded with renowned artists such as 50 Cent, Enrique Iglesias, Akon, T-Pain, Aventura, Ivy Queen, Ednita Nazario, Franco "El Gorila", Gadiel and Yomo .
