On the heels of a Super Smash Bros.' official unveiling for the Wii U at the E3 2013 Nintendo Direct, the publisher has released nearly one hundred screenshots of the various characters both in battle, and posing for the camera.

The official roster so far features the Villager from Animal Crossing, the Wii Fit Trainer, Mario, Link, Samus, Pit, Bowser, Pikachu, Fox and, most importantly, Mega Man. Very little is known about what changes Nintendo is making to the fighting mechanics, but series fans will find the footage exceedingly familiar, complete with what appear to be Smash Ball super attacks.

A launch window of 2014 was given, but no specific month or date was provided. Prior to E3, franchise designer Masahiro Sakurai promised to at last unveil the project, and he certainly delivered. Nintendo pledges to provide a steady trickle of information about the project. Preceding the launch of Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii, the game's official blog served as a direct point of contact with the community. Many new features, mechanics, and characters were revealed on the site. Those interested should check Smashbros.com regularly for new updates.

Information about the Wii U version of Smash is currently limited, but stay tuned to Latinos Post as more information sees the light of day.
