China also has the regular Lumia 925, however, it is carrier China Unicom instead.

The confirmation of the Lumia 925 smartphones in China comes roughly a week after the Windows Phone 8 device passed the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) and regulator TENAA certification, seen as the equivalent as the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The Lumia 925 was first announced during a Nokia event in London on May 14. Nokia set a June release date in China along with Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. As for U.S. customers, the Lumia 925 has been confirmed for T-Mobile, but a release date has not been set.

The Lumia 925's features include a 4.5-inch display with 1,280x768 pixels and a 2,000mAh battery capacity for the 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. The Lumia 925's wireless connections include the latest Bluetooth and NFC technology. The maximum standby time is 440 hours and just over 12 hours of talk time under a 3G network.

Carrier Vodafone is selling the Lumia 925 with a 32GB internal memory instead of the 16GB and are accepting pre-orders for German and U.K. customers.
