Former WWE Champion and movie star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is enjoying life on the big and small screens these days, his latest television show on TNT enjoying a decent debut in the last week.

"The Hero," which debuted on June 6, drew in more than 2.1 million viewers in Live + Same Day delivery, according to LordsofPain.com. A press release from TNT indicated that Johnson's new show ranked as one of basic cable's Top 10 unscripted series launches in 2013.

"Among key adult demos, the premiere telecast scored 855,000 adults 18-49, up a remarkable +94% over TNT's year-to-date average for the timeslot (excludingsports)," the release read. "It also garnered 832,000 adults 25-54, outperforming TNT's timeslot average by +45%. With a projected median age of 39, the audience for The Hero's premiere telecast is TNT's youngest ever for an original series launch."

This latest success is a new feather in the cap for Johnson, whose latest movie, "Fast and Furious 6" opened at No.1 in box offices around the nation during Memorial Day weekend and continues to draw impressive numbers.

In other news, Evan Bourne is apparently getting closer to his long-awaited return to the ring after being suspended indefinitely last year. On his Twitter account this week, Bourne, a former WWE Tag Team champion with Kofi Kingston, tweeted, "Soon, the caterpillar will emerge from his cocoon as a shark with a gun for a mouth #airbourneiscoming."

Bourne was suspended last February following multiple violations of the WWE's Wellness Policy which imposes strict fines and penalties on WWE talent that are found violating the company's rules on drugs, alcohol or substance abuse.

Meanwhile, the next company Pay Per View, "WWE Payback," will be hailing live from Chicago, Ilinois on June 16, and one of WWE's biggest stars, five-time world champion CM Punk, is expected to make his triumphant return after two months of absence following WrestleMania 29. The returning Punk, who has been one of the top draws in the company since 2011, is expected to get a major crowd reaction in his home town of Chicago, the site of some of his greatest triumphs, including his WWE Championship win at Money in the Bank 2011 against John Cena, his Extreme Rules 2012 Street Fight against Chris Jericho and his sole Intercontinental Championship win in 2009.

In a recent interview with Wrestling Heels Radio.com as reported by Wrestling News Source, former WWE talent Bob "Hardcore" Holly talked about his impressions of Punk while working in the company. Holly was released in January 2009, when Punk was in the company for under three years.

"To me, he seemed like he was happy. He really did. it's hard to tell. He wasn't one to complain at all. You'd never hear him complain. So you wouldn't know if something was wrong. I mean, I talked to him. We talked all the time in the locker room, just talking about anything, in general. And one thing I will say - and I have a ton of respect for Punk. I really do," Holly said. "And he was always happy for me whenever they would start doing something for me. 'Cause he always said you deserve it, and stuff like that. And he was one of the guys who always told me he was happy for me whenever anything good would come along for me. And that meant a lot to me. And I've always had tons of respect for him."
